The Governor

“Hang ‘Em All. No Pardons.”
Aliases:
- Guv/Gov
- “Nashville”
- the Big Man/Guy
The largest and most powerful man in Nashville, he lives in the palatial Governor’s Mansion, second in opulence only to the Bank of Nashville. He decides the fate of those poor souls in the Jailhouse, who lives and who dies. This power is something unique to the governor, unable to be compelled by anyone, including the Banker. He is the only person who can override the Sherriff, and stay an execution. A stay of execution is an exceedingly rare occurrence, and only granted in the most heartbreaking of circumstances. This has caused many desperate and hopeless prisoners to start seeing the Governor as a God-like figure, since he was in charge of Nashville, a place already considered next to Heaven. A former intern, now prisoner awaiting execution, was quoted as saying “The governor has a heart, it’s just tiny and black.”
Fun Facts:
- he has reached maximum corruption saturation for his lifetime, and can be corrupted no further, so what little goodness remains in him won’t go away.
- at nearly 8 feet tall and over 370 pounds, the Governor is the physically largest man in Nashville history.
